Homeowner Information

This section of our website provides homeowners with all the information they need to make a good decision. We are amazed at the massive amount of mis-information that exists in the on-lot septic industry. Folks who you think should know better don't. If you as the homeowner don't educate yourself, others in the process will be making decisions that you'll end up living with.

Are we Approved?

All the systems we work with have been approved by the PA DEP...Period! Sadly, many folks in our industry choose to not stay up to speed with changes in the regulations. Others prefer not to learn new things and often you as a home or property owner will not be given all your options or will just be told "no". Contact us so we can educate you on ALL the options that you are entitled to use

General Information

Most folks assume that they will be getting a sand mound and that other options are not available...or allowed...or cost too much. Sadly, that is just not true. Again, Contact us so we can educate you on ALL the options you have, and what the relative costs will be. There is way, way too much mis-information out there.

How do I avoid getting a sand mound?

If you don't want a sand mound, please contact us. We would be more than happy to come take a look at your property. When you contact us the following information would be helpful for us to know:

  • What county do you live in?
  • What is your perc rate?
  • What is the depth to the limiting zone?
  • What is the slope on the property?
  • Are you builing a new home or is it a repair situation?
  • Do you have a design done?
  • Who is your Sewage Enforcement Officer?

Don't worry if you do not have this information. Call us anyway and we can help you obtain it. If you start by contacting others (i.e. your builder, excavator or SEO) you are more likely to get directed back to a sand mound or get mis-information. We work state-wide with a great network of designers and installers! Contact us and we'll connect you to someone local or we are happy to provide the folks you are already working with the correct information.
